Veteran producer / remixer / engineer J. Chris Griffin's experience and credentials in many ways speak for themselves. His 20+ years in the music industry based out of both New York City and Nashville have garnered him production and engineering credits from A-list recording artists such as Madonna, Kanye West, Janet Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, The Killers, Missy Elliot, John Legend and many more. Having consistently charted several billboard top ten singles and countless other hit tracks, his clients have come to swear by his talents in tracking, vocal coaching, producing and mixing radio-ready, A-List music.
Chris' unique and diverse skill set as a producer, engineer, sound designer, vocal coach, and live performer position him as one of the most qualified and talented person a recording artist could work with. Aside from his studio credits, Chris has been one of the lead sound designers for Propellerheads Reason (software that has become standard fare in virtually every desktop producer's arsenal), designing hundreds of synth patches, creating custom ReFills, and writing demo songs. Aside from his work with Propellerheads, Chris also personally designed SAW-1 Discovery (available now in the Propellerhead Shop) and two soft-synth packages distributed by M-Audio: “Premium Electric Pianos” and “Premium Vintage Keyboards.”
Additionally, Chris travels all around the world representing AVID, Antares (AutoTune) and M-Audio as an artist / clinician. Recently he's appeared as a featured producer at the New York AES Convention for Antares. He also appeared multiple times as guest presenter for Sweetwater, MixCon and as a featured producer/clinician at NAMM.
Chris’ personal works as an artist can also be found throughout network television. Featured in prime-time shows in the US, Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Mexico, his sound is spread throughout the world. Some major programs featuring Griffin’s tracks are CBS’s NCIS, NBC’s Dateline and MTV’s Made.
